Not Your Run-of-the-Mill Educational Museums

Everynow and then I find odd museums when I travel such as the museum of marzipan in a little town in Germany and a museum of puppets in Prague.

Still, I think this Lonely Planet journalist has certainly done their homework with a list of absolutely odd museums. I would definitely check out some of these just for the sheer novelty (and of course education) of it all.

No Time to Hesitate When You are On Air

When my friend Peter invited a friend and I to be co-hosts on his weekly retro music show featured on a local community radio station, we just couldn’t say ‘no’.I’ve always had an interest in all things related to dramatic arts, however I was terrible at remembering lines. Improvisation therefore seemed to be the best way to release that creative energy and there’s no better place for improvisation than on the radio.

Chocolate Tasting Session is a Pretty Sweet Idea

Hungry for a novel chocolate flavour – as tends to happen often with me – I went to a local chocolatier to look for something that would appease my curious tastebuds.After scanning the usual nougat truffles and dark chocolate selections, my eyes landed on a “Pure Origin Chocolate – From Around the World” display located on the corner of the counter.
